I had 0.8ml of lip filler in February. I’m May I noticed an area becoming raised and now I have a lump which looks like a cyst or blood blister on my lip. It’s pertruding from my lip now and is very noticeable, does jot appear to be healing. Unsure if this is filler or a cyst/burst blood vessel.

Based on your photos, you have a smooth and full lip appearance on the top and on the bottom. Since you are seeing filler on the white part of your upper lip, I agree that adding more filler would just be contributing to the problem. Thank you for the question. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
Hi and thanks for your question. It's still possible that you had a cold sore even with a negative culture. An allergy to the filler is also a possibility. In that case, you can dissolve the filler with hyaluronidase, use steroids as you did, and benardryl. If you had an allergy, I would find a...
