Halo Laser for PIH in darker skinned individuals?

Hi All, I recently attended a consultation regarding Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation I have resulting from acne. I have darker skin (Type 5) and the Halo Laser was recommended for me. Has anyone here used the Halo Laser to treat PIH in darker skinned individuals? I want to make sure it’s safe for me before I agree as I’ve heard that lasers can sometimes make PIH worse in darker skin. Thanks!
