What appears to be a dark circle in the lower eyelid area is actually a shadow of your own eye onto the a flat area of the cheek. This is an inherited condition and usually inherited from the father. The single best way to correct the situation is to have a small amount of fat transfer into the lower eyelid/cheek area. What you are seeing is shadow and highlights from volume irregularities. The treatment is to fill the area with either fat or a heavy filler like Juvederm Volume deep. Either needs to be done by an expert who specializes in this area. Choose your injector carefully.
