What happens to every individual as they age is that they lose volume in the face in the form of fat and muscle bulk. Thank you for your question. It is perfectly normal as we age that the lower face becomes more squared iand the face less egg shaped.

In my experience threads are ineffective and Botox in the DAO will not correct the early formation of jowls which create the marionette line.

The definitive treatment of course is a lower face and neck lift however you are very young and may not want to progress to that stage at present.

If you want to continue with nonsurgical methods I would recommend midface filler to plump the cheeks along zygoma which will restore the egg-shaped face and make the face look more youthful.

If you do have midface filler I would go on with the DAO Botox. At some point you are going to want a lift for definitive treatment.
