The big difference is that what your body makes are not cross linked. They are constantly made and removed. Man-made hyaluronic acid fillers are cross-linked. This allows them to persist for years, making them practical as fillers. What makes these services so powerful is they can be broken down and removed with the injection of the enzyme hydaluronidase. Well-meaning people have wrongly frightened the public by writing on forums like this that enzyme wreaked their skin or face.
