Can I get Botox to induce ptosis to fix asymmetry?

I have ptosis in one eyes but despite it not being conventional/popular I like the droopy eyelid look so I don’t want to get ptosis correction surgery to fix it- is it possible that I could get Botox or some other procedure into induce pros is in the other eye to even it out? Thanks

In theory, Botox can be used to induce a mild, controlled ptosis by precisely weakening the levator palpebrae superioris or affecting the frontalis muscle that helps raise the brow and lid. This is not a standard use of Botox, but in experienced hands, small strategic injections may help achieve a more symmetrical, intentionally “droopy” appearance between both eyes.

That said, it’s important to understand:

Induced ptosis is not predictable — the degree and duration can vary depending on your anatomy and how your muscles respond.

It may also unintentionally affect vision or create an undesired aesthetic if overdone or if the diffusion spreads unpredictably.

The effect is temporary, typically lasting 3–4 months, so maintenance would be required if you like the result.

If you're open to alternatives, some non-surgical techniques or eyelid weighting procedures can mimic ptosis-like appearance in a more controlled or subtle way.

This approach should be done by a highly skilled injector who understands eyelid anatomy in detail to reduce the risk of overcorrection or functional problems.
