I had filler done on my leg 8 years ago. Around 1.5 years ago I noticed the area where the filler was placed started getting darker and became painful to touch over time. I went to the doctors and was told it’s infected. They made incisions in my leg to drain the infection and gave me antibiotics via the drip. I have been on Surpax 400mg oral antibiotics for 6 months but my leg is healing extremely slowly and I am struggling to bend my knee. Is there any other treatments I can do to speed up th

If you are allergic to lidocaine you can use fillers that do not have it added. As many patients prefer it for comfort during injections you may need to ask your injector ahead of time to see if it can be ordered for you.
