I've recently turned 35 and have become obsessed with my under eye bags.No matter how much sleep I get I always look exhausted! Wondering if a lower blepharoplasty could be the solution but also unsure if I have bags due to fluid retention, fat deposits or if it's actually hollows and a loss of skin laxity? I've recently had polynucleotide injections under the eyes after being recommended them after a consultation. I was told this would help boost collagen and results would take a few months to see. However, as with the 1st injection, immediately after the injection the results are amazing, all the puffiness is gone and the area is smooth - I look great and young again (minus the pin pricks of blood and slight bruising!) However, in a couple of days I will be back to normal again, looking just as tired and puffy as always. Wondering what the mechanism for this short lived improvement is? And what this means for my overall solution? Could it be that the temporary swelling and polynucleotide liquid from the injection is smoothing things out. And if so, surely I don't want fat removed, i.e. lower blepharoplasty and I actually want to fill out the area permanently i.e. filler? As you can see I'm so confused as to the best course of action - just want to get this sorted once and for all. Any advice very much welcome Thanks
