B1 veneers too yellow? (Photo)

Question

Hi I had Invisalign and then top 4 front teeth I had new porcelain veneers (replacing old ones) I just feel they are too yellow? A whitening cement was used to get them whiter to match my other teeth, as I had been whitening those, but I just feel they don’t match?

Hi In my opinion B1 veneers are not yellow, actually it is the brightest in the natural colour range, then we have whiter teeth shaded which we call 'Bleached white'. There are other factors that can affect the shade, including shade of teeth underneath, eg if the teeth were dark, also the cement colour will be used to bond the veneers. That is why before bonding veneers we use try-in cements , just to check which shade gives the best results. Dr Sara Amini , City of London
