Age 34, female, how much ml is usually required for mid cheek filler?

I had filler in the past yet they never placed the 1ml Syringe into my mid flattened cheek area just in the cheekbone. (Per side 1ml) Is this something I’m supposed to mention to the injector ? Also how much cc is usually injected into the mid cheek, I’m 34 female I don’t like the over filled look.

Hi there! The mid cheek area can take a decent amount of filler depending on the volume deficit present. At first, I would try 0.5 cc per side and adjust upward to the desired effect. When placed, it's important for the injector to be in the proper location and to use a product which is not too stiff. Deep on the cheekbone can certainly take a thicker filler and higher amounts as the skin above can assist with camouflaging. You can certainly mention this to your injector. I like Restalyne Contour, Juvederm Volbella, or Belotero for the medial cheek. Hope this helps!
