I have red inflammation and scarring from a rejected belly piercing. How can I reduce redness and get rid of scarring? (Photo)

Question

I had this navel piercing for 2 years and it was fine until it got infected a little and recently I saw the skin thinning out between the piercing and a lot of redness. I assumed my body was rejecting the piercing so before it pushed the piercing out and ripped my skin I have just taken it out. But I want to get rid of the redness and swelling and scarring as it looks horrible.
