Global shedding for 4 months after stopping Minoxidil

I'm a 20 year old man with healthy lifestyle. I used 5% extra strength minoxidil for almost 2 months, but stopped due to exessive shedding and itching. Since then it's been almost 4 months but I'm still shedding a lot of hair thinning all over my scalp even though I used it only on temples. Will PRP make it worse or recover the lost hair. Thanks

Shedding after stoppin minxodil after 4 months may reflect your promary condition not from stopping the drug. See a doctor

Any hair therapy an initially cause some shedding.  It may also be possible to have continued shedding due to your underlying hair loss diagnosis.  It is advisable to see a hair loss specialist who can evaluate you by taking a full history and examining your scalp.  PRP may be an option for you, but it is something with variable results- some people notice significant improvement, some may just notice stability, and some may even have initial shedding from it.  Seeing a specialist can help go over all of your treatments options once a diagnosis is made.  Good luck!
