7 weeks post TT using embrace strips and now starting to develop red marks. What can I use to treat them? (photos)

I am 7 week’s post TT. I have been using the Embrace strip for 4 weeks changing it every 5 to 7 days when it starts to lift. Today I felt irritation and when I removed the strip my skin had these red patches. What is it, how do I treat it? Also, can I continue using the embrace strip since it’s been helping my scar ?

You appear to be either developing a rash in response to the adhesive in the Embrace, or this may be a heat dermatitis from the occlusion under the strips. Regardless, I would stop the Embrace. If you damage the skin around your incision you could potentially make the scar worse. At 7 weeks out the tension relieving effects of the Embrace would be minimal anyway. I'd switch to using a silicone based scar gel such as Kelocote or Scarguard.
