Is it okay to get tazed for training with breast implants?

Hello, I am a law enforcement officer and need to get tasered as part of my certification. I have silicone implants that are under my pectoral muscles. My biggest concern is that the taser causes extremely painful muscle contractions to the entire body. Will the pressure from the contraction effect my implants or ruin it? Thanks so much for your time and help.

There is no specific tazer related risks to patients who have undergone augmentation in the past.

The muscle contraction is temporary and fleeting. There will be a brief deformation and then a return to baseline.

As always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).

Thank you for keeping us safe. You should be fine being tazed, but it does hurt. Ouch!  Usually, you are not being tased for a long time. My husband was in law enforcement too and his experience with tasers was just a brief jolt.
