Am I eligible for Liposuction or do I need an Arm Lift? (photos)

Question

I'm 5"3 and about 125 lbs. I used to be about twenty pounds heavier, and i don't think i've lost much off of my arms at all. They're a different clothing size to the rest of my body and just totally out of proportion. If I had liposuction, would i end up with saggy skin due to the size of my arms? I don't want an arm lift because of the scars, but there's no point in getting lipo done if i have to deal with a load of saggy skin. Thanks.

You seem to be a good candidate for laser liposuction (smart lipo) of your other arms.  Typically and especially in younger patients you can expect to get good skin tightening in the upper arms after liposuction and Laser. This is the procedure typically performed under local anesthesia in an office setting. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon with expertise in this procedure.

You are a fine candidate for liposuction.  The lipo incision is one small incision at the elbow area that heals well.  Fat is removed longitudinally and the skin of the arm shrinks well.   Do not have a arm lift type of surgery involving a long incision.   The skin of your arm will retract well.  I feel the Vaser ultrasound is the best way and it helps the skin retract even better,   Be aware that skin shrinks well just with plain liposuction and no high tech devices.   Arm skin just retracts very well.  The people that need skin removed are those with huge weight loss and sometimes older people with hanging  skin.   The long scar on the arm is visible and only should be placed if there is no alternative such as Vaser Liposuction.   Lots of skin and hanging is a big problem that demands a big solution of skin removal but for all other arm fullness and lax problems liposuction works very well and skin retraction is great.
