How invasive is it to remove dog ears left from a tummy tuck?

Plastic surgery scars require attention after surgery so that they remain cosmetically-appealing and barely noticeable. In terms of lasers, we would employ the vbeam laser for redness, Venus Viva RF, PRP microneedling, chemical peels, and Morpheus 8, fractional erbium, or fractional co2. Without photos or an in-person evaluation, it is difficult to say. In cases with minimal dog ears, this revision can be done in office under local anesthesia; however, this is up to the discretion of your plastic surgeon. I recommend meeting with them to discuss your concerns and for evaluation.

This can be usually done under local anesthesia in the office and is only skin deep to remove the offending cutaneous deformity.
