I have scars, but no acne. Can I use Retin-A to clear my face or it will bring back acne?

I had my 6 months course of accutane which ended in Feb 2012...thanks god it treated my moderate-severe acne then and my skin has no longer acne...it has only few scars (shallow redish)from time to time and I don't know how it comes as there is no more acne, Anyway Could you please tell me if I used a daily routine of retin-A in order to get rid of these scars, would it be useful or it may irrtate my skin and Bring Acne Back ?????? Thanks a lot

Retin A is a great topical for acne and can be used for fine lines and mild wrinkles, but there are other treatments that could be a lot more effective for scars- either laser, peel, microneedling or some other treatment would improve your fine scars.
