Hair around areola. How can I remove it?

Hair around the areola is not an uncommon problem to have, especially if your of an ethnicity that is hairy.  Laser hair removal can be performed easily to treat this.  It may take 6-12 treatments depending on the quality of the device used.  Good luck.

Yes, you would be an ideal candidate for laser hair removal. Just make sure you go to a trained professional and that they use the proper settings for your skin type.

Ditto what Dr. Casello said.  Lasers are the most likely to result in permanent hair removal.  These hairs can be a bit tougher to treat, than say, leg hair, because they tend to be thinner and finer.  Multiple treatments will be needed.  I treated mine years ago, after my husband-unwisely-made me aware and self-conscious of them (and I will never let him forget that as long as he lives). I still have a few wispy ones on each side but the obvious ones are gone.  I used a diode laser but it is important to find a practitioner with a laser that is safest for your skin type.  Another caveat--don't rely on an IPL to permanently treat the hair.  It will delay hair growth but not permanently remove them.
