Hi everyone! So one of my maxillary lateral incisors is actually a fused tooth. My orthodontist opted to shave down/re-shape the tooth instead of replacing it with an implant. It doesn't cause me any pain, but I really don't like the look of it. What would be the best course of treatment? Thank you!

Gaps can be corrected with dental veneers, dental bonding and orthodontics. Each have their pros and cons and the prognosis of how long they will last you. Your best option is to see an expert cosmetic dentist in your area, so your bite and occlusion can be checked also!

Sorry about your condition...Bondings on lower front teeth on the biting edge is "iffy" at best since the material used is not quite as resistant to wear as porcelain..It would just add to your problems to bond and have them wear away or fracture sooner than later...Need more info like photos,...
Hi:It is difficult to predict. Normally bonding can last anywhere between 3-7 years. However, if you are a clenched or a grinder you can break off the bonding very easily.Best,Dr. Maddahi
