Can I use phentermine (diet pills) after a hair transplant?

When is it safe to use phentermine (a stimulant) after a hair transplant? Is there any chance of losing grafts or growth from it?

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.  Phentermine itself does not cause loss of grafts.

Phentermine is not detrimental to hair growth. However, since it a stimulant, it is best to abstain from it for 10 days after surgery due to possible cardiovascular side effects.

You can start to use any  hair growth supportive drugs or food supplaments  (those contains biotin, zinc, folic acid, methionine, saw palmetto etc) beside  phentermine 2 weeks after surgery. İt will have no effect on hair regrowth.
