One pound of fat is virtually nothing in terms of liposuction volume.  At 5 weeks your clothing should be fitting better.

It will take 6 months for all the swelling to resolve after liposuction, please be patient and allow nature to take it's course!

At this early period of time, you are likely very swollen still.  If you are concerned you should talk/see your surgeon.  Best of luck.

Based on the picture posted there is more fat to be suctioned at least 1000 cc to 2000 (2,2 t0 4.4 pounds).As for the significant swelling, bloating, a sonogram is needed to make sure there is no seroma.

It is difficult to determine your overall result without reviewing preoperative photos. However, if you are experiencing hardness or continued swelling in a localized area at your abdomen, there is a possibility that you have a seroma. A seroma is simply a build up of fluid beneath the skin. Continue to wear your compression garment, gently massage the area, and follow up with your plastic surgeon.
