My right crease is still high why is this? Can this be corrected? (photos)

Question

the height of crease discussed with my surgeon having 5-6mm which is moderate. Time of surgery he said because I was a contact lense wearer my tendon had stretched in my right eye and had to be repaired I'm not sure why my right eye is like this now it looks bigger and more hollow:(it's a little difficult to look up iv not contacted him yet as I'm trying to be patient it has now been 1mth 2wks also I have formed 2 little bumps on my left crease feels tender when I massage what could this be too?

You really need to get a few additional opinions from Asian eyelid surgery experts.  Your scarring is a little unusual looking.  I'm not faulting your surgeon but it would be best to have someone else take a look.Chase Lay MD

Your right eyelid is still droopy.  There are still some suture bumps along the eyelid crease.  Follow your doctors post operative instructions and be patient.  If the asymmetry is still present in 3 months, it can be corrected.  The suture bumps may take weeks months to improve and resolve, which they typically do.

The eyelid crease is formed when fibers of the levator aponeurosis (lifting muscle inside the eyelid) sends fibers towards the skin surface, these fibers are ultimately responsible for the crease (this is the reason that we see higher eyelid creases in patients who have ptosis due to a levator aponeurosis dehiscence). A crease can be created by suturing the skin to the cut edge of this muscle or by suturing the skin and muscle to the tarsal plate. I would discuss this with your surgeon. As for the two bumps on the left side, these are likely small inflammatory areas due to sutures under the skin, I suspect these will improve with time.
