There should be no reason why Dysport would cause hair loss. It does not affect any part of the hair growth factors and they should be unrelated.
Dysport does not have any direct action that would cause hair loss. Instead, if this occurred at the injection site, you could have had some local inflammation at the injection site that caused the hair to fall out. It should be a temporary problem that will resolve shortly.Michael M. Kim, MD
I have never seen this side effect. Physiologically, Dysport attaches to the SNAP receptors of nerve endings, and there is no relationship between the nerve endings and hair growth or loss. We see decreased sweating in the forehead with Botox, but there is no reason why it should effect your hair.There are many, many reasons why one could have hair loss at the frontal area, and a dermatologist will help you with this.
