There is absolutely no research or literature to support any link between fillers and cancer, and I would not be concerned.  There are no long-term side effects to filler injections that are known.

Hi @MsTexas. In general, hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are safe. Restylane is great choice when it comes to wrinkles around the mouth. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

I generally tell my clients that after 48 hours there is very little risk of filler migration or deformity with normal pressure applied to your face such as during sleeping on your side.
