Thanks for sharing the pics. You need to wait for six months before attempting a scar revision .After 6 months , still your left areola is puffy ,think about remnant gland removal and scar revision. If only scar is the issue after 6 months, go for only scar revision. But it is very common to see some scar tissue under the areola after surgery . For that locally acting steroid injection will help you . Discuss with your surgeon . He will be the better person to guide you

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  Your invaginated scar can be revised at the time of your revision to achieve a smoother appearance and a better match to your right areola.  I do not think it will make a material difference in your areola size.  Hope this helps.

I am so sorry to see that you haven't had an ideal outcome. Please wait 6 months before considering any kind of revision surgery. You want to give your body time to fully heal as things may improve. It you are still not happy at the 6 month post op mark then yes, speak with your surgeon or another board certified plastic surgeon about a scar revision. Best of luck.

While revision can be performed sooner, it remains ideal to wait at least six months to give the residual swelling the opportunity to dissipate completely and the skin to redrape entirely to the new contour, thus allowing us to determine the best surgical maneuver and further minimize the risk of contour irregularities.
