CO2 fractional laser settings: I'm 6 weeks post-op and I still have micro needle points all over my face.

Question

Laser used on my procedure CO2 FRAXEL REPAIR, I think by Reliant Technologies. Spot size used with large tip: Energy level 70mj, Treatment level 12, 4 passes, with a Total 5.13kj . Another part of my face was treated with small tip: Energy level 70mj, Treatment level 12 with 4 passes, Total 0.23kj. Another section treated: small tip at 40mj, Level 8 with 4 passes, Total 0.76. Are these strong settings? I'm 6 weeks post-op & I still have micro needle points all over my face. Will they close?

It can take several weeks for laser results to settle. I recommend following up with your Doctor about after care and recommendations. PDT therapy and lasers (ProYellow, Excel V, VBeam) can give improvement. I also recommend skin care with vitamin c, b5 hydrator, silicone based scar gels with growth factors and enzymatic washes with papaya enzyme. Sun protection is essential. Typically I do a combination of lasers like clear and brilliant, fraxel, viva 4-6 weeks after co2 to improve this along with microneedling/prp to get the best outcomes with texture and tone.  Please see an expert.
