Taking Drug Propecia During Surgery?

I have been taking the drug propecia for one year now to help control my hair loss. Will being on it during and after cheek implant surgery cause any unwanted effects such as increased swelling, ect.?

You would be better off with cheek implants.  You will need the fat in theid cheek as you age. Though fillers can be used they will be vastly more expensive over years.

Cheek implants for "low cheeks" are probably what you need and placed high on the cheek bone. There are several types of cheek implants and one of those does what you want.

Accusculpt is an variation of liposuction surgery and basic principles are totally the same. to reduce volume of upper/anterior cheek. Surgical removal of buccal fat poads are usually more effective.

There are a number of moderate and long lasting fillers that work so well that I do many fewer cheek implants than I did a few years ago. If this is your first time, I suggest a hyaluronic acid filler, Juverderm, Restylane, or Perlane. The advantage is that they last +/- 9 months in the cheeks....

You have the type of face that has lower cheek fat and liposuction or buccal fat removal is not what I would do. You will need that fat in several years and you will look younger because of it. As you have found out you can always find someone to do it but you won't be happy. You could...
