With your surgeons approval, you should be able to do some desk work. But don't push yourself, increase work gradually, be sure to get up and ambulate (walk) once an hour. Everyone recovers differently so you will have to see how you feel.

It looks like a stitch is spitting out. Sometimes the ody doesn't absorb absorbable stitches. I bet it's a virulent suture coming out. In any case, go see your ps. They wil need to address it either by removing the suture or making wound dressing suggestions.    Best, Asif...
