Hello , i want to ask for your opinion on my case, how would you reduce ear size (changing earlobe or something else) to reduce 7cm ear (from bottom to top) to average 4.5 or 5.5 cm
Answer: Ear reduction I would recommend an in-person consultation with a plastic surgeon to better address your concerns. He or she will address the size of your ear and discuss the proper proportions for you specifically. Best of luck to you, and I hope you get the result you desire.

Answer: Ear Reduction Ralf123,The average height of the male ear is 6-6.5 centimeters. At 7, your ears are only slightly larger in vertical height than average. In my opinion they are not distracting from your appearance, based on the photo you supplied.A 4.5 cm ear, on the other hand, would be noticeably small on your head. It would be as wide as it is tall, a square. I fear that an ear reduction, even to 5.5 cm tall, would lend an unnatural appearance. And, importantly, that surgery would be nearly irreversible in case you did not like the outcome.By all means consult with a Board-certified Facial Plastic Surgeon (or General Plastic Surgeon who has experience in otoplasty), but consider the points I've raised above. In your area, Russell Ries MD (a facial plastic surgeon at Vanderbilt in Nashville) is very experienced and very highly regarded by patients and peers.Best of luck! Answer: Ear reduction Although there are very good techniques for re-shaping ears, there unfortunately are not reliable techniques for reduction in size of an otherwise normally-developed ear. Regardless, given the limitations of on-line questions and photos, I do recommend a formal consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and have an exam performed to see if there is an acceptable technique in your case. I hope this helps - good luck!
