C-section. Is it true that once your stomach muscles are cut, they are no longer working properly?

So with all my kids I have had c-sections . I work out a lot but bottom fat isn't going anywhere this has been two years straight of hardcore workouts. So my question is if I get Liposuction and a tummy tuck would I be able to get the ripped look again on my stomach? Are you flat due to tge muscles being damage if that's the case with a c-section surgery.

A liposuction and tummy tuck can definitely get you to the point where you have a concave midsection and see the lines starting to form around your muscles. To get the truly ripped look, general weight loss will help you acheive this goal after the tummy tuck. Thank you for your question.  I can not answer whether you will get the "ripped look" again without an in person exam.  That being said however a tummy tuck will get rid of excess skin and give you more core abdominal strength by tightening your abdominal muscles that have been stretched out by pregnancies.  Best of luck to you

A tummy tuck typically includes lipo suction and contouring which should help bring back some of the definition you are desiring. And, about the hardcore workouts, keep in mind that you can do exercise every day 24/7, but if you don't eat clean/healthy it wont matter.I recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals.Good luck :)

It is very likely that your abdominal wall muscles are functioning normally, despite previous C-section surgery.  Based on your description, it sounds like you may be a good candidate for tummy tuck surgery. Generally speaking, the “ideal” patient for tummy tuck surgery is one who has completed pregnancies, is psycho socially/emotionally/financially stable, has an excellent social support system surrounding him/her, is capable of arranging enough recovery time, does not smoke and who has reached a long-term stable weight. It is very likely that you will be able to achieve the "ripped" again after a well executed tummy tuck procedure and ongoing careful attention to diet/exercise afterwards. Best wishes.

Thanks for your question. The abdominal muscles are not generally cut with C-section but cut muscles heal. The ripped look does not come from surgery although tighter skin and repair of muscle diastasis, if you have that, can make it easier for you to get there. The ripped look comes form countless hours in the gym and a body fat percentage that is lower than most people can accomplish.
