Double eyelid surgery - is this helpful for puffy under eyes from hashimoto's disease?

I have hashi motos which makes my face puffy under my eyes, will the procedure work for me or will it just come back ?

Straightforward double eyelid surgery and Asian eyelid surgery will not involve dissection or manipulation of the lash line, and thus will not be significantly affected by your meibomian gland dysfunction as long as your hygiene and care of your meibomian glands remains the same.
