I don't feel any pain or discomfort when i wear my invisalign trays, are they working or not?

to wear, and localize areas of pressure rather than distributing them across

Your Invisalign Clincheck plan is designed for very specific tooth movements that may or may not  cause pain or discomfort. Invisalign tooth movements can be very subtle without any sense of discomfort. Most of the tooth movement occurs in the initial days of aligner tray wear and the remainder of the time is allowing the delicate bone around the teeth to compete a dynamic process of resorption and deposition, a critical process that allows the teeth to move and the bone to "set." So to sum it up, it doesn't have to hurt to work, and contrary to my high school wrestling coach's saying during workout, "no pain, no gain," dentistry is becoming more and more painless, especially in the are of orthodontics where fixed appliances with painful adjustments, broken wires, and broken brackets are becoming things of the past.
