Can I take paracetamol 24hrs after having Juvederm lip filler?

I have had juvederm lip filler 24hrs ago I am sore and swollen. My question is canning take paracetomol and caffeine tablets if i have a head ache ?

Thank you for your question Georgie.g. Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid filler designed to enhance the
appearance of the face. Swelling is normal for 2 weeks after a treatment. Typically fillers in the lips do not result in headaches unless there is a history of headaches. I recommend that my patients take Tylenol (aka Paracetamol) for discomfort after a treatment. Please consult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!

Yes , there is no contraindication  for taking paracetamol (acetaminophen ) before or after having filler . Hope you feel better.

Thank you for your question.  You should be just fine to take paracetamol and caffeine after Juvederm treatment.  Please keep in mind that it will take 2 weeks to allow for normal postprocedure swelling and bruising to resolve and to see your final result.  Icing is beneficial for up to 48 hours after the procedure.  Arnica is also helpful for minimizing normal postprocedure swelling and bruising.  Hope this helps and best wishes!

Thank you for your question.  Paracetamol (known as acetaminophen or Tylenol in the US) is safe after filler injections.  Gently applying ice or cool compresses to the treated areas can help with swelling and tenderness as well.  I hope you feel better soon!

Paracetamol and caffeine would be fine after fillers and should not interfere or cause issues.  It would be fine to take those.

Of course you can take your favorite medication to treat the headache that you're having or the discomfort in the lip. You may also place some warm or cold compresses, whichever one works best for you to help with discomfort.
