I do them together at the same time so you have one downtime. pretreat with cosmelan or enlighten and post treat with emerageskin refit face, eye and hyla b; anteagemd serum; light stim LED; and faith essance serum! Best, Dr. Emer.
PDO threads are placed below the skin. The Halo laser treats into the skin, not below it. The Halo laser does roll across the skin, so I would recommend you wait a week or two after the threads, it would be completely safe to have a Halo at that time.Andrew Campbell, M.D.Facial Rejuvenation SpecialistQuintessa
Great question - in our office about 70% of our patients opt to combine threads and Halo. As threads can be placed deeper in the skin and Halo penetration settings can be customized to not reach that depth, there would hypothetically be no damage to previously placed threads. However, Halo does generate a great deal of heat which can damage threads. We love placing PDO threads on the same day as Halo immediately AFTER the laser - we find the two treatments very complimentary and patients get more out of the downtime that they invested in the laser, particularly around the mouth and lower face where you don't generally want the bulk of filler.
We do a combination of lasers, fillers, and botox for this area. you need aggressive treatment to ensure best results here. we start with more aggressive like co2 first then maintain with halo/moxie and fractora. fillers can be used simultaneously. at home peels should be done between. Best,...
Halo uses 2 different wavelengths to target the surface and deeper layers of the skin. Using both wavelengths will assist in smoothing the surface as well as stimulating collagen production deeper in the skin. Microneedling won't give as much of a smoothing as the Halo
Thank you for your question. Type 4 skin has to be approached with care as with all patients that have melanin tick. Complications such as hyperpigmentation can be mitigated by using proper settings, skin prep, and the right laser. Halo is a fractional hybrid with robust, tunable settings for...
I'm sorry about your experience but the icepick scars will best be treated with TCA Cross. The deeper scars need filler. RFM is much better than microneedling alone and would consider that. The Halo can treat acne scarring and I would certainly take them up on the 3 they offered you. I would...
This needs more than halo, needs fillers, subcision and pretreatment with peels like cosmelan/enlighten. profractional should be added and at home roller started now (see link). at home peels like cosmelan, enlighten and aerify along with dermarolling (MTS roller with anteage MD ampules w...
Halo is a fine choice for your fine lines. You should consider doing 2-3 treatments, but it will help without really interrupting your life. I do not think that if you decide on a TRL that you need anything extreme. I think that 60-80 micron depth will be a really nice and adequate treatment to...
