30% glycolic peel 4 days ago and I’m worried the esthetician left it on too long. I am still feeling burning in my cheek (Photo)

I don’t remember the exact time frame it was left on but it felt like 8-10 Min. I am now peeling but the new skin on my cheeks is very red and raw. I also still feel burning in my cheeks which makes me worry that the acid was not neutralized enough and is still penetrating my skin. I have attached photos and would like to know if this looks like normal peeling and redness. Is there a way to make it stop burning? Will this leave a scar?
