Should I have filler for forehead atrophy after cortisone Injection?

Hey, sorry in advance for no pictures! I have atrophy on my forehead from a cortisone injection. It has been there for six weeks. I have had 3 saline injections to no prevail. I am wondering if I should do filler or just wait. My derm told me to let her know when I am ready for filler. I am hoping the saline will work as I am terrified to get an HA filler due to over correction or unfortunate side effects. Advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much! HA fillers are a simple solution to fill the atrophic divot caused by a cortisone injection. If you are concerned about overcorrection, you always have the option to reverse an HA filler. If you want to permanently fix the problem, you can have them inject Bellafill which is actually FDA approved for acne scars but it is the same principle.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking, dermal fillers are great option to fill dents. If you are considering treatment, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

It's difficult to give a recommendation with no photos or an exam.  Fillers can be used to help improve contours.  HA fillers are dissolvable if the results are unfavorable.
