How can I remove FLAT moles? (photo)

Question

My face is covered in these horrible brown spots. Because nearly all of them are 100% flat, I've been told that they're freckles, but after doing some research, they seem to look a lot more like flat moles. Is there ANYTHING I can do about these spots? I HATE the way I look! I've honestly never seen anyone else that has as many as I do, and they're really starting to kill my self confidence. Please help me!

There are many ways to treat the moles you have.  Some moles can be treated by shaving the pigmented area off and some may be better treated with full thickness excision.  Depending on the location and character of the mole a combination of shaving some and excising some is an effective way to cosmetically improve your situation.

Mole removal begins with a comprehensive examination and consultation to determine the likelihood of a mole being worrisome. Excisional and incisional biopsies are reserved for suspicious moles. But it’s good news that most moles are not problematic and are only cosmetic, thus leading to the option of scarless or non-surgical mole removal with lasers and RF and plasma. Flat dark moles on the face are usually call junctional nevi and can be burned or lasered off or superficially shaved under local and do very nicely. Often they need 2-3 sessions and will return in the future. It looks so nice with a clean face. cost is roughly $500-1000 per session and so worth it. Sincerely, David Hansen,MD
