I've just witnessed a lovely rhinoplasty revision which entailed dorsal augmentation using rib grafts and cranial cartilage. My question is whether cranial cartilage is used to a particular graft to repair cartilage damage or as a buffer pad to mask graft exposure? Thanks in advance. Please share your surgical insight.
