Would Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis prevent me from getting saline or silicone breast implants?

Having a history of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis does not mean you could not consider breast augmentation with either silicone gel or saline filled implants.Although there is no proven direct cause and effect link between silicone gel implants and autoimmune disorders, many doctors recommend that patients with autoimmune disorders select saline implants.Of course, it is critically important that you check with your primary care doctor to be sure your condition is stable enough before undergoing elective cosmetic surgery.
