From the information and photos you have provided, it appears you have a normal BMI and healthy skin with good elasticity which makes you a great candidate for High Def VASER Liposuction and Renuvion (J-plasma). This is a great combination to achieve your desired cosmetic goals as VASER liposuction melts superficial fat while Renuvion (J-plasma) provides skin tightening. A tummy tuck will remove excess skin and tighten your abdominal wall but should only be done once you have completed childbearing. Hello and thank you for your question. It appears you might be a good candidate for a combination of liposuction and non-surgical skin tightening. The lipo treatment would remove the stubborn fat in the midsection using small tubes known as cannulas. The cannulas are inserted directly into the pocket of fat so the fat cells can be gently suctioned out of the body. Immediately following tumescent liposuction, I often prefer a non-surgical skin tightening treatment called ThermiTight. This procedure delivers radiofrequency energy into the deeper dermal structure, where it can effectively constrict tissue and increase collagen production. There is a temperature probe both internally and externally in order to achieve the best temperature for tightening yet avoid overheating and burns. Smart Lipo does not have this precise ability to monitor temperature, so I prefer ThermiTight for its safety and effectiveness. Make sure you choose a dermatologist who is both board certified and an expert in non-surgical body contouring to give yourself the best odds of success.

based on your photos and history of pregnancies, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Liposuction will only remove the excess fat and leave handing skin and separated abdominal muscles. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Smart Lipo is good for stubborn areas of fat, but lacks body contouring and shaping. For best results, I recommend a hi-definition procedure like VASER liposuction, which can be performed at the same time as a tummy tuck, if there is skin laxity. I use VASER HI-DEF with ThermiRF, Renuvion (J Plasma), InMode BodyTite, and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. Thank you for your question. I think Smart lipo will give you reasonable to good result. It removes some stubborn fat and tighten the skin to a certain degree with minimal downtime. If you want really tight abdomen then TT is the answer. Please consult with a board certified PS for evaluation.

Smart Lipo can be a wonderful option to help contour your midsection and tackle excess skin. With the use of laser technology to melt fat before it's extracted and encourage stimulation of collagen and elastin in the skin, which may help tighten the treatment area. This may not be enough, however, to tackle the overhang you mention. It may be best to consult with a qualified surgeon to discuss what options – Smart Lipo and otherwise – could help you meet your ultimate physique goals.
 
 

 

You appear to be a great candidate for Smart Lipo of your abdomen. The overhang would be corrected and tummy flattened with minimal downtime. The skin tightening from the laser will be beneficial as well.

You have minimal excessive fatty tissue and loose skin. You are very suitable for laserlipolysis or vaserlipo or laser and vaserlipo together.

What will provide you an incredible results will be high definition body contouring which will include the VASER liposuction (far superior to SMART Lipo) and simultaenous excision of lower abdominal skin and hang (termed a limited mini tuck). This will allow your surgeon to etch out your abdominals giving you an incredible transformation. Plae consider a virtual conslutation with a high def provider.

 Emily tell me tuck is in my opinion by far the best procedure for you. Spot treating the torso with liposuction and will brin spot treating the torso with liposuction and will give you an uneven and natural fat distribution. You shouldn't have fat removed from your lower abdomen only. It looks wrong and I would say you have a 50% chance of having a bad outcome.  Almost all plastic surgeons will do a competent job of a mini tummy tuck.  Liposuction outcomes tend to be bad too often. It is a procedure that is far more difficult to do well then people think.  Simply attempting to treat the lower abdomen only is almost a guarantee for a bad outcome since it will leave you with an abnormal fat distribution which can never look natural.  In our practice we treat the torso as a single anatomic unit. If it's going to be treated all of it has to be treated.  I would not have any form of tummytuck until you know you're done having children.   Best, Mats Hagstrom
