Dental Hygiene Loupes and Rhinoplasty?

Wearing heavy glasses after rhinoplasty is possible after six weeks. I tell my patients to put tape in the center of the glasses and tape the tape to their forehead that way they can wear them immediately after the cast comes off

After rhinoplasty that involves osteotomies (breaking the nose), I tell my patients that they should avoid direct pressure to the nasal bones from standard glasses and sunglasses for 4 weeks . Dental hygiene loupes worn for a short period of time, intermittently during the day, 4 weeks after your rhinoplasty should be ok. But, just to be certain they are not too heavy, you might want to take your loupes and light to your plastic surgeon's office to get their "ok." Thanks for your question. Best wishes.
