My lip injections are gone after a month every time?

I would suggest fat transfer if fillers do not work or try Juvederm Volume, I have yet to see a patient this did not last in. Please seek a consultation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer 

Thank you for your question and I am sorry to hear of your difficulties.  There can be some variability in the duration of fillers that is patient specific, as well as some loss as the swelling of the tissues resolves, but complete absorption should not take place within 2 weeks.  Do you have before and after photos that you would be willing to share?  You may require greater amounts of filler placement to achieve your desired result or perhaps a thicker material such as with Voluma.  Be sure to see a board certified plastic surgeon in consultation

This is a technical error of injection too deeply.  Find another injector.  If indeed it goes away with a new injector, it is the material and your body.

From your comments fillers for you are not the way to go.I would consider a permanent lip implant or do some fat injections which is your own tissue.

Thank you for your question.  Sorry to hear that you are having some concerns about the duration of Juvederm in your lips.  In general, fillers will not last as long when injected into the lips due to the constant movements in that area.  The duration in the lips should be closer to 6-8 months, as opposed to up to one year in other areas.  There can be some variability in the duration of results based on the individual patient and the type of product injected.  You may wish to ask your injector which type of Juvederm she is using and to consider using a thicker product that might last longer.  Please be sure to see an experienced injector for an in-person reevaluation in order to fully address your concerns and to determine the best course of action.  Best wishes!
