When does the hair come our after a hair transplant on the vertex area?

Hi, i am 25 years old, and it has almost been 9 months since i made a FUE hair transplant on the vertex area. I can see a litle diffence but not as i expected at all. When i touch the scalp, i can maybe count the new coming hairs and its not much. I got almots 2000 grafts. Sometimes i think it wont get better. Should i expect a better result? It generally takes 6 to 12 months to see results after a hair transplant surgery.  Sometimes as long as 18 months.

Unfortunately few patients get significant growth after 9 months post op. That doesn't mean YOU won't grow, but rarely will you see a significant sprout this late in the game. But take heart that you may just be a very late bloomer and that all will grow eventually. Best growth to you.

I would expect growth to start around 4 months and conclude by 12-18 months.  A small percentage of patients will get substantial growth after a year.With some advances with Liposomal ATP and PRP hair growth is starting even earlier.

Usually you start seeing hair growth after about 3-4 months but it takes a year to really see a significant difference.  Why not schedule an appointment with your doctor and have a density check done to determine how much growth you have at this time.  It is still early so you have to be patient. What I think you are saying is that the grafts are now growing. Go back to your doctor and ask him to retake photos and compare them to your before photos to see if your concerns are real

Usually the transplanted hair goes through it's own intrinsic cycle of growth and will start to grow in after three to four months after hair transplant. It may take up to18 months for all the hair to grow in.
