So my swelling has come down a lot in the last month. Concerns: The profile I did not want a pointy tip from the beginning, but this feels too round! My doc told me that it is swelling, but I can't imagine the tip to become more pointy. 2. Inside my right nose thrill (left on the picture) I can still see a lot of scarring since it's the side that has had most work. I worry this will be permanent. The tip looks assymetrical. One of the nose thrills has a "line" going down and the other doesn't.

Answer: 10 weeks post op will my nose always look this way At 10 weeks after surgery about 90 to 95% of the swelling of you nose should be gone. However if you have thick skin or this is a revision rhinoplasty the swelling can last much longer. Your nose does look rounded and a bit asymmetric but the photos look like you might have thick skin. Ask your doctor to consider an injection of Kenalog10 deep into the tip. This can be helpful with excess swelling of the tip in people with thick skin.

Answer: Tip definition 10 weeks after rhinoplasty...Is there still room for improvement? I am sorry that you are having concerns about your procedure and thanks for sharing your question. I can appreciate your concern and agree with your assessment. After 10 weeks there is some room for improvement. I do not think your tip will get pointier. However, It might get mildly better of what it is. Finally, make sure that your doctor is aware of your process. She/He should be able to guide you best in your care. Wishing you the best in your journey
