i am using this minoxidil for 1 year, i stopped it from 2 weeks and my hair is noticably falling :'( ... what should i take to reduce this [RS bleep]? i will be married and i am afraid that minoxidil would affect pregrancy ... i am talking omega 3 tablets only now and using alpecin what else should i take? the fall is severe please help me..

Minoxidil helps to stopping hair loss and thickening of hair although it may cause a little loss at beginning and after you  leave it.  Minox does not affect pregnancy but better to  start to use it again to  stop  hair loss.

This is a complex situation and you’ll want to sit down with a dermatologist to carefully review. Many of your hairs want minoxidil at the present time. Without it they do not want to grow. There are options to 1) restart minoxidil and stop once you start trying to conceive 2) trying to stimulate hair growth via other means such that the hair follicles are less bothered by the stoppage of minoxidil (laser, PRP, etc). All treatments for androgenetic alopecia are lielong. If you have another type of hair loss that minoxidil was helping (ie telogen effluvium) your dermatologist can offer suggestions for treating that condition as well.

When you develop minoxidil dependent hair, whens topping the minoxidil, the minoxidil dependent hair will fall out. There is nothing you can do to stop it
