Do I have double bubble? Would I need a mesh in order to get rid of this appearance? I also have a weird feeling on the bottom corner were the shadow starts is that the implant?
Answer: Shadow around implant Thank you for your question. If this is a nipple sparing mastectomy then in my opinion, the shadow is most likely where the mastectomy stopped and you have some fullness in that area. It's diffcult to assess without knowing the background on the type of surgery that you have had. I would recommend following up with your plastic surgeon so you can have an exam and have your questions addressed. Beat of luck.

Answer: Double bubble? It looks like the size and shape of your implant "pocket" (ie where it is positioned/sitting) is mismatched to the size and position of your breast skin. This often happens because the implant sits higher on the chest inevitably just because of the way reconstructive surgery is done. Since it appears you had a nipple sparing procedure, it's difficult without making additional incisions to remove a lot more skin to "tighten" the breast skin pocket to match the implant size and position better. Sometimes with time as the implant settles down this can improve. If it doesn't, there are things that can be done to better disguise that line with procedures such as fat grafting or removing some internal scar tissue. This would be best discussed with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.

Answer: Double bubble I think that other photos would be helpful. It does look like from the side photo that a double bubble is visible. Best to be seen in person.
