Should I be able to feel my port from the tissue expander in my breast poking out of my skin and causing me discomfort?

Hello,Patients often complain of discomfort from their tissue expanders. The port can often be felt just underneath the skin as the skin is thin from the mastectomy procedure. Just remember that they are temporary and the permanent silicone gel implants are much more comfortable.Good luck!
