After using minoxidil for 3 weeks my doctor told me to stop. I have huge hair loss. Will the hair grow back?

I took prp with minoxidil but eventually minoxidil lead to huge hairfall so much that now my hair thickness has reduced alot. My doctor precribed me to leave minoxidil. Will i'll b able to get my lost hair back?

PRP causes a lot of inflammation.  That's partly how it works.  For now I would use ice packs.  However, you should make a call to your doctor to see what he thinks.  If you have any pain I would start to worry about an infection and you need to get on top of that quickly.

In my opinion you need to be evaluated by a hair expert. We have found that postmenopausal hairloss responds well to p r p. However the diagnosis needs to be certain. It can take at least 4 months to see any result from PRP. You should consult with a board certified dermatologist for a complete hair analysis.  PRP works wonderfully if you are a good candidate. Please consult an expert.  Best, Dr. Green
