What supplements to avoid taking for Radiesse?

Hello T.  If you are taking Curcumin prior to Radiesse injections you may increase your risk of bruising.  We do not believe that taking any supplement will aid in developing more Collagen with Radiesse, rather many different supplements, including Curcumin have blood thinning properties and can cause more pronounced bruising than if you avoid these supplements 7 days prior to injections.  Best of luck.

I recommend following up with your injector abou their recommendations regarding supplements, but the supplement you mentioned should not negatively impact your results. Radiesse develops collagen and helps the skin improve volume and texture. Hello and thank you for your question. I think it wise to stop Curamin prior to your procedure as well as, Ibuprofen, Advil, Motrin, Aspirin, Vitamin E, Fish Oil and flaxseed Oil. All of these products impact your clotting mechanism. Stop for at least 3 days if not longer. Best of luck to you.

Hi and thank you for your question.  It is important that you discuss any medications or supplements (prescription or over the counter) that you are taking with your physician or injector before your cosmetic injection.  Curamin and turmeric can increase your risk for bruising and I typically recommend that patients avoid taking supplements and all NSAIDs before their injection to minimize this bruising risk.  I wish you all the best!
