6 days post-op from a BA, have pain in only one breast and light-headness when I stand up, is this normal?

My right breast feels like I never even got a breast implant feels perfectly okay, my left breast hurts really bad everytime I move my arm I get a shooting knife pain through my nipple and its on fire. I also am very light-headed every time i stand up for to long which worries me I hope what I'm experiencing is normal? Any help?

The lightheadedness you are experiencing when standing is most likely due diminished blood volume.This is called orthostasis and frequently occurs after surgery. Make sure you are drinkng plenty of fluids, and if it persists, have your surgeon examine you. The pain you are describing is fairly classic for nerve pain which occurs after surgery . Absent any excessive swelling or other changes, it should resolve on its own.

Some of the symptoms you are reporting can be part of the normal post operative healing process. The light headed feeling could be related to pain medication you may be taking. With any post operative symptoms or questions it is best to talk to you surgeon directly so they can better assess you to determine if everything is progressing as it should
